These are some of the questions that astronomer Constanza Yovaniniz will answer in the astronomy courses for girls and boys aged 7 to 13 that she will hold at the Usach Planetarium.
Classes will have theoretical learning sessions which will be accompanied by arts and crafts activities to learn in a playful way.
Sessions include two fun 360° fulldome movies from the Usach Planetarium.

“RELATIVITY AND BLACK HOLES”
From 23 to 26 January / from 6 to 9 February
This course is an introduction to some of the more mysterious topics in astronomy, such as black holes and space-time.
Topics: gravitational force, space-time, special relativity, gravitational lenses, black holes.
Furthermore, during the holidays the Planetarium will host scientific laboratories, observation with telescopes and 360° films
From January 3 to February 26, the USACH Planetarium will have extended hours from Tuesday to Sunday, with a continuous program of full-dome films from 11:00 to 17:00, entertainment workshops, astronomical observation with telescopes and activities for girls and boys for enjoy the best summer holidays.

Solar observation with telescopes: know the sun and its spots and flares!
Water Rocket: having fun you will learn the power of action and reaction! Observe Newton’s third law with our water rocket launch! The Water Rocket is a demonstration of Newton’s Third Law, or principle of action-reaction. Compressed air will push water through a hole in the base of the high pressure rocket and launch your ship.
Paint your little card: the moon, stars, planets or even a galaxy or nebula! Let your imagination run wild and draw whatever you want on your badge. Create your own badges in a fun workshop!
