‘Argentina, 1985’ is nominated for an Oscar for best international film

Today the Academy has delivered the list of nominated films in the different categories that will participate in the 95th edition of the Oscars which will be held this March 12 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, in the United States. The ceremony will be animated by the comedian Jimmy Kimmel.

In the Best Foreign Film category, the Argentine film by Santiago Mitra and protagonist Ricardo Darin, “Argentina, 1985”. These are the trials of the soldiers who governed the Trans-Andean country during the last military dictatorship (1976-1983) for violations of human rights. Recall that the film won the award for Best Foreign Film at the Golden Globes.
